I work as an Audiovisual Translator and have specialized in English to Italian subtitling (EN > IT) and subtitling for the deaf (Italian SDH). After completing a Master's degree in Modern Languages and Translation for International Relations (LM-38) in 2021 at the University of Palermo, I specialized in the audiovisual field by attending a Master's degree in “Audiovisual Translation (AVT): Subtitling, Localization and Dubbing” at ISTRAD, Institute of Languages and Translation of the University of Cadiz.

I moved my first steps in this field back in the last academic year by collaborating as a volunteer subtitler for the Sole Luna Doc Film Festival, being awarded with a certificate of merit for the quality of my service.

I kept and still keep collaborating with various international film festivals such as the CineLatino Festival, the Rome Independent Film Festival, the Lago Film Festival and the Ischia Film Festival.
The experience with the Ischia Film Festival has been particularly enriching. I first worked as a volunteer intern and eventually obtained the role as the official subtitler. I had the honor to attend the screening of various films made by filmmakers from all over the world, contributing to the success of the festival.

I am also a volunteer translator and reviewer for TED (Technology Entertainment Design), a lecture series, run by the private non-profit U.S. organization Sapling Foundation with the goal of promoting the dissemination of information in every field of knowledge.
